About Brian

Brian Winkeler is founder and verbal creative director (his fancy version of “copywriter”) of Robot House, a boutique brand creative firm in downtown Oklahoma City, a community way, way cooler than the one he began his career in 35 years ago. He takes partial credit.

Befitting a business named after an obscure reference from the animated series ‘Futurama,’ Robot House has earned its reputation as the ragtag team of local creative misfits, specializing in thoughtfully unexpected brands and campaigns that inspire laughter, tears, and the occasional grammatically incorrect one-star Google review.

Brian is the only three-, four-, five-, six-, seven-, eight-, nine-, ten-, eleven-, and twelve-time winner of the coveted Fontana Award for Advertising Humor bestowed by AAF Oklahoma. But who’s counting?
